Stage 2 – Enhanced Build Testing

PLEASE NOTE that Phase 2 is only applicable to single endpoint solutions that have want to take advantage of the enhanced build and confirm that your customers CPE is correctly configured to work with both the active and standby SBCs.

If you do not want to take advantage of enhanced feature you do not need to complete these tests.

This test is only applicable to Enhanced Gamma SIP Trunks solutions. Invoke enhanced test mode (to simulate unavailability of the Active SBC) using the portal. (See New Enhanced Build Test or Migrating a Standard Build to Enhanced Build)

Recording Test Outcome #

On completion use the portal to record the outcome of your test. You do this by viewing your endpoint on the Gamma portal and selecting action: Test Enhanced Build.

To confirm that your endpoint is correctly configured for Enhanced Build, select the Pass option on the Gamma Portal. This will result in your endpoint being updated to an Enhanced build. When complete you will receive a confirmation email and the portal will communicate that the endpoint is now an Enhanced Build.

To record that your endpoint does not support Enhanced Build, select the Fail Option. This will result in your endpoint being reverted to Standard build. When complete you will receive a confirmation email and the portal will communicate that the endpoint is now a Standard Build.
