The Gamma Portal Mobile provisioning journey has been enhanced to make it easier to view SIM stock and reduce error risk whilst provisioning. You will now be able to:
- Understand at a glance what SIM stock is available by type (electronic eSIM vs physical pSIM) and Service Provider Name (SPN) before allocating SIMs to new mobile services
- Reduce the risk of issuing the wrong SIM type or branding during bulk provisioning
- Continue to use existing bulk upload (“load data from file”) functionality with improved visibility of the SIMs being used
These improvements make it easier to allocate the right SIMs, plan inventory more effectively for bulk orders, and maintain stronger control throughout the provisioning process.
What’s Changed? #
Whilst completing a mobile order via the gamma portal the interface will now show:
- The available SIM inventory split by the number of eSIMs and physical SIMs
- An additional field to select a Service Provider Name (SPN)
- The auto populate option will allow you to select whether to auto populate eSIMs or physical SIMS (pSIM)
- ICCID dropdowns in the provisioning table will display the SIM type
The downloadable SIM inventory report has also been updated to visualise SIMs by type and by SPN.
Ordering custom/branded SIMs
Custom and/or branded SIMs (including custom SPN) are requested and issued at the point of SIM ordering. Whilst provisioning for a customer with specific branding requirements partners can pre-select the SPN they intend to use. For further information please contact your Account Manager.
