Fibre broadband is the latest development from our range of Next Generation broadband services. Our Fibre broadband is provided using Fibre to the Property (FTTP) or as a Single order GEA (SOGEA).
SoGEA is Single Order GEA which is a new end user access option within our fibre Broadband family of products. SOGEA is closely related to FTTC (VDSL) with the exception that it does not share the line with a WLR or MPF service.
FTTP is Fibre all the way from the exchange into the customers property. There is no copper at all in these circuits. Less copper and more fibre make for some very impressive speeds and FTTP is certainly the premium broadband service in locations where it is available.
Different routers will be needed to support different products. Once a product is selected, the relevant router(s) will be available to select for the specified speed and service.
